Cycling is great way for families to get active, feel great and get more from their time together. At Pedal Norfolk we are passionate about getting youngsters riding and proudly offer families the opportunity to ride Pedal Norfolk with their own event. 

Our Family Adventure Trail is exactly that – a trail and an adventure! Set completely within the beautiful grounds of Holkham on a mixture of grasslands, paths and trails you can take all day to complete our challenge together and make as many stops along the way as you like. Why not take a picnic too. 

Follow the signs and find clues along the way to solve the Pedal Norfolk puzzle. Learn how to estimate the age of a tree, recognise popular leaves, learn about Holkham’s past and keep a sharp lookout for Holkham’s wild deer, geese and wildlife on this cycling safari and adventure trail. Get the puzzle solved and earn a Pedal Norfolk medal and treats for all the family.

You will start at our event village between 10 and 12am on either Saturday or Sunday after the longer distance riders have left for the day. At the end, have a family sprint through the bannered finish line and pose for your family ride souvenir photos.
