Back for 2024 for its 3rd edition by popular demand, The Untamed offers a Sunday Gravel-Oriented event to our 2-day Pedal Norfolk Festival set in the prestigious grounds of Holkham Hall. Experience the big open skies of Norfolk along quiet lanes and bridleways as you criss-cross North Norfolk and pass through beautiful villages.
The Untamed offers 25, 50 and 75 mile routes which may feel much longer if your a roadie coming to try a Gravel-Oriented event for the first time!
You are welcome to book camping on-site at Holkham Hall for Friday and Saturday nights to make a weekend of it with live music, bar and street food available on Saturday night. Perhaps take in a road Sportive on Saturday as well?
As always with TPR Events, our routes are fully signposted, our rides are fully inclusive of feed stops and the 75 mile option also offers lunch. Full mechanical support and broom wagon is provided for peace of mind.
The event is open to all riders of all abilities and ages. We encourage all types of bikes as well, with the ability to complete this ride on a Gravel, MTB, Hybrid or E-Bike.

Untamed Ride Options
75 Mile Route
This 75 mile route will head out along the coast taking in some stunning gravel tracks literally as soon as you leave the start around the Holkham estate. You will wind your way out of the Estate through some normally off limits tracks and head out into the wilderness of North Norfolk.
This ride is perfect for all abilities and bike types. You will get supported the whole way round with our all inclusive drink stops run by our amazing volunteers.

50 Mile Route
50 miles around some amazing gravel paths and North Norfolk roads…. Thats what the 50 mile route on the Untamed Gravel event gives you. You will wind your way away from Holkham Hall starting on some of Holkham’s very own gravel paths then transitioning to more wide open paths and back roads into some stunning villages and settings..
This route is suitable for all riders of any ability or age riding whatever bike you would like. There will be some off road parts that are more suited to gravel bikes and some that are more suited to MTB and hybrids but thats the fun of it. Don’t forget E-Bikes and anything else you can think of are all welcome as well.

25 Mile Route
The 25 mile route on the Untamed gravel ride is a beautiful ride out through the stunning Holkham Park to start with. This route doesn’t miss out on any of the big appeal parts of the event with stunning back roads, beautiful villages, gravel paths and a Free drink stop.
This route is suitable for all riders of any ability or age riding whatever bike you would like. There will be some off road parts that are more suited to gravel bikes and some that are more suited to MTB and hybrids but thats the fun of it. Don’t forget E-Bikes and anything else you can think of are all welcome as well.

Pedal Norfolk Festival
Untamed is part of the 2-day Pedal Norfolk Cycling Festival set in the prestigious Holkham Hall estate. We have teamed up with the Holkham team to bring you a weekend celebration of all the things we love about the cycling lifestyle – great rides on quiet roads, good friends and craic, food, music, and possibly a cheeky celebratory drink as the sun sets across the wonderful parkland setting.
You can book camping for Friday and Saturday night with street food, bar and live music available until 10pm on Saturday. This is a very, very rare opportunity to camp, caravan or motorhome in the beautifully idyllic Holkham estate in North Norfolk so book your accommodation early.
